The story of Home Baked began with Maddie’s Bakes, inspired by the creativity of pastry chef Maddie Dowdy. Maddie trained at Northampton College and built her skills in professional kitchens before joining Compass Group. A member of the prestigious Marcus Wareing Forward Programme, Maddie quickly became a rising star, winning the Rising Star Award at the 2025 Contract Catering Awards. Her passion for baking and flair for recipe innovation helped to shape many of the mouth-watering creations enjoyed in Eurest restaurants across the UK. Today, Maddie’s influence continues to inspire Home Baked, with her recipes now reimagined and freshly baked by teams nationwide.
We also collaborate with other talented bakers from across the business, each bringing their own skills, creativity and ideas to help Home Baked continue to grow and evolve.
